I have found peace and health through my yoga practice, and am honored to share yoga with others.
I've been teaching hatha yoga since 2008. I'm registered with the Yoga Alliance (YA) as E-RYT-500, and am pursuing my enthusiasm for helping people get out of pain through continued study and my own daily practices.
I'm passionate about sharing yoga with others to help them relieve physical and emotional pain and learn to truly relax so they can live more fully. I teach Extra-Gentle Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga 1, and Yoga 1-2 classes, with an emphasis on good alignment, breath awareness, learning to relax, and making an asana practice grown-up play time! I hope that students who practice with me learn how to carry their yoga bliss off the mat and into their lives.
Part of my teaching practice is that I honor my first teachers, my parents, by concluding each class with an Irish blessing that they taught me. Namaste.
